DC Graphics' Vision:

It's my mission to see EVERY Apostolic church, evangelist, missionary equipt with the promotional tools they need to help them to reach out to their community and compel the lost to come to Jesus. If it's not God's will for any to perish...then my will MUST be to win souls so I can please the Lord!! As Brother Maddix says, "I want to make it HARD for people to go to hell."

How Denise Cole Graphics Began...

When I first got in church, I had such a hunger to work for God. The problem was...I didn't know what I was capable of doing. I didn't know enough to teach or lead any groups. What could God do with an extremely shy, insecure, college drop out, stay-at-home Mama? Well, lots when I finally got out of the way and let Him work!

It all started with scrubbing toilets and cooking back in 2003. That is all I felt worthy to do, but I did it with all my heart for God- and I enjoyed it! I decided that would be my ministry...cooking every sunday for my pastor's wife to give her a break...and scrubbing toilets at the church so no one else would have to. I was happy in my new found place in the Kingdom. Eventually, though...a need arose for a church newsletter. Before I knew it, I had blurted out that I would do it. Um, two problems:  I didn't own a computer AND I had no idea how to do a newsletter. At that point I'm not sure I had ever even read one! I kicked myself all the way home for being such an idiot! In my hunger to do whatever God wanted me to...I had obligated myself to something I could never accomplish! Well, God provided the computer and I sat down and made a crude little newsletter for our church. They never were very pretty...but I put all my heart into doing them and they met a need! God is good!

A couple of years later (2005), my then pastor (Donald Martinez) became home missions director of SECTION 7 in Texas. He needed a power point to discuss the "100 churches in 10 years" vision they were launching. He asked me to do it. My reaction? "Um, what's a power point!?" Yeah, you think I'm kidding. I wasn't! But, I went back to the computer, praying all the way...and God guided me to figure out that powerpoint. My pastor was blown away by what I put together and it's his encouragement that allowed me to dare to dream to do more for the Kingdom.

Over the years, God opened doors for me with graphics more and more. In late 2006 I was able to start using Photoshop (oh, the tears and the prayers that went up when I first began that adventure! I lost a lot of my glory (hair) during that time stressing out because I couldn't even get the program to open a file for me! I didn't even have internet to view tutorials!) This year (2009), I am conquering Illustrator...all with the Lord's patient guidance.

When I finally decided that God was more important than how very little I thought of myself... God blessed me with a dream come true! PLEASE HEAR ME!!! I know what the field of graphics is like. I know how cutting edge and artsy and hip a graphic artist is supposed to be. I am no stylish fashionista!  I'm a middle aged, overweight, plain looking Mamma whose hair is never quite in place and wrinkles seem to love my dresses!! I'm NOTHING that a graphic artist is supposed to be! I don't enjoy hanging out at coffee shops or even shopping (unless it's for my son!) I have a Dell PC- not a chic and shiney Mac! The fact that I am able to do anything is because I love Jesus and I want to do His bidding. THAT is the secret to anyone who wants to work for God. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. WHY would I share such unflattering info on the net? Because this ministry has nothing to do with me or my abilities or connections. It has EVERYTHING to do with God being able to do exceedingly, abundantly...above all that we can ask...if we just let Him.

The Lord has blessed me with the opportunity to work with countless missionaries (foreign and home), pastors and ministries. To testify of God's goodness, I'll name a few:

I've worked for several of the UPCI Districts including the Texas, Alabama, Louisiana and more. I've been the exclusive graphic designer for Gowinsouls (Tim Downs) since 2007, Soul Winner's Boot Camp (Matt Maddix) and M4 since 2007, Pentecostal Publishing House (through EA), Mark Condon, Everyone's Apostolic, Apostolic Singles Network (John Howell), My Apostolic Website (D. Freeman), IBC Perspectives Magazine and so much more! It truly floors me what God has done with someone who thought of herself as worthless when she got in church.

That's where it all began...with scrubbing toilets and wanting to work for Jesus to show him how much I love him.  All I had to begin with was a hunger...God supplied the rest. So, if you feel God tugging to get you to do something you've never done before...let Him work. You will be amazed what He can do in your life when you just get out of the way!

My son getting baptized in Jesus Name:

Mother's Day 3 years ago. My son repented of his sins and was baptized in Jesus Name. Listen...the first word he says upon coming out of the water is, "JESUS!" Last year, he was filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost...just like the Bible says! I'm SO grateful for this blessing. God has been so good to me!
